Globe Food Equipment Announces the Availability of its SP20 Mixer with Removable Bowl Guard

DAYTON, OH., Aug. 24, 2009  – Globe Food Equipment, a leading provider of precision food preparation equipment for the foodservice industry, announces the availability of its popular SP20 twenty quart mixer now with a removable stainless steel bowl guard.

This new feature is designed to make cleaning the guard easier and faster; no more maneuvering around a stationary guard. Completely constructed of resilient, high-grade stainless steel, the removable guard can be cleaned in a sink or dishwasher. This added feature is the result of listening to both dealer and end-user feedback for continued product enhancement.

The design of the guard itself has not changed and still includes the permanently attached ingredient chute on the side; the difference is the removability which will ease the cleaning process. These removable bowl guards are designed to be simple and quick to remove and reinstall for remote cleaning. As before, the guard is interlocked and the mixer will not operate until the guard has been properly installed and is in the closed position.
